The chapter below has come into being spontaneously, for fun, without the bigger concept of writing any more chapters. For anyone doing Ancient Egypt fiction of any sort, here's some info to make you not look like a twat
- Anubis is the name of a specific deity, not just the word for a black dog with gold jewelry. Saying 'this is my OC Bob, an Anubis dog' makes no sense. Same goes for Bast.
- Anubis and Bast were never a couple in history, that's just a modern furry thing. Anubis was, however, sometimes called Bast's son historically.
- There was a female jackal goddess named Anupet, who was Anubis' consort. So, you know, if you want to draw 'lady Anubis'...
- Bast was never a goddess of the moon, that misconception was because the Greeks saw her as just
